Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Mississippis first childrens museum, is a hands-on discovery center for children, their families and teachers. With exhibits and programs designed to teach as well as entertain, visitors experience the Mississippi of yesterday as well as today. The museum is a private not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) designated organization. In April 2016, Lynn Meadows Discovery Center was awarded the highest honor a museum can receive- the National Medal for Museum and Library Service. This award, presented by the First Lady of the United States, is given as a tribute to the organizations ability to make a difference in the lives of children, families and communities through extraordinary and innovative approaches to public service, exceeding the expected levels of community outreach.
