M Vest AS is, in turn, owned by Mr. Trond Mohn and Mr. Lars Moldestad. Background: In 2016 Atlantic Petroleum Norge AS activity, license portfolio and staff were acquired by M Vest Energy AS. In December 2016, the new oil company was approved as a license holder on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and in January 2017 M Vest Energy was awarded its first new license by the Norwegian Oil and Energy Department in the licensing round, TFO 2016.
