As centenary of the establishment of our republic is fast approaching, Turkey has acquired a signifi cant position in the international arena. Embracing diff erent cultures for a thousand year, our experience and strong beliefs have been calling for us to our historical fate. Among all the developments succeeded with the spirit of resurrection to mobilise the potential within, education will surely be the most permanent and sustainable arena. In that sense, our substantial need is to become a state which lives on its rich history and own traditions embodied with wisdom and which is ready to become a part of the universal and to off er novelty to it. Education in our inherited civilization fuses knowledge, action, and virtue in a world now became unidimensional. Our foundation will raise decent generations who will use their knowledge and wisdom for the future of humanity.
