Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia University was founded in 1978. Jamia Millia Islamia, one of the nations most reputed universities, has continually strived to establish itself in the global arena. The Department of Economics is one of the most obstinate-working departments of the university. Maashiyaat Economics Network is an initiative by the students of Jamia Millia Islamia. Our mission is to reimagine and reinvent the approach towards economic concepts and promote economics as a heterodox discipline. We aim to impart academic rigour within our department and beyond. Additionally, promoting project works and thesis writing with yearly dissertations shall be our priority. We also plan on maintaining the large reservoir of articles and media in the cloud archive. We are evolving with various products that our network will be bringing to you, such as infographics, podcasts, videos, research papers, monthly news analysis, articles, reading circles and many more
