Who are we Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey offers free emotional support, practical information and group support to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends. We also have a wellbeing service which includes complementary therapies and diet and exercise advice. All our services are free and confidential. Our services are provided from The Oasis, Macmillan Jerseys cancer support centre, based at the Lido Medical Centre. Mission statement To support and empower people in Jersey affected by cancer. The challenge and our aim Cancer is increasing and by 2020 it is estimated that nearly 1 in 2 of the population will receive a cancer diagnosis at some time during their lives. The increase is mainly because people are living longer. Due to improved treatments many more people will live beyond cancer, and our service aims to meet the growing demand and changing needs.
