In 1881, Shamaee family, as its name implies (Shama in the Persian language means who make candles), was involved in the production of candles, followed by the production of traditional soap from candle wastes. The family can be considered as the first soap producer in Iran. In 1921, the first industrial factory of soap was established with the title of Haghighat-e- Shamaee and in 1995, with the goal of supplying the domestic and foreign market needs, Mahloran factory was established with the purpose of producing a wide range of cosmetics.
