MajorStage began with twin brothers Marco & Miguel Ramos frustrated by the uncomfortable, unclear, and often predatory practices facing artists trying to make it in New York City and in the music industry. In 2007, the beginnings of MajorStage were formed as the Overtime Concert Series, producing shows for the talented emerging Hip-Hop artists in NYC. As MajorStage expanded from one show a month in 2007 to 30+ shows a month in 2019, the Overtime Concerts name was retired, but MajorStages capacity to produce incredible experiences for artists and fans alike has grown into a powerful community. In addition to live performance opportunities, MajorStage has expanded our offerings to help provide artists with knowledge and assistance necessary for a successful music career.
