Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 500,000 wishes worldwide with the help of more than 43,000 volunteers across 50 countries on five continents. The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter was founded in 1984 and has granted more than 9,000 wishes in its 40-year history.
