Make-A-Wish Maine Mission: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. These life-changing wishes help make life better for wish kids, strengthen families, and bring communities closer together. On average, a wish is granted to a Maine child every five days at a cost of $8,500. Since the chapter opened its doors in 1992, over 1,900 wishes have been granted to Maine children.
