Maktoob

Maktoob is a media initiative based in Delhi, India. It was founded in the southern state of Kerala in March 2014, to ensure an equal and unbiased space for discussion, dialogue, and dissemination of information and news. Maktoob publishes news and features in English. In recent decades, media ownership has concentrated in the hands of a few corporations and conglomerates. This has led to a narrowing of the range of voices and opinions being expressed. And here, Maktoob is trying to make a change. Through news, views, and analyses of ground reports, Maktoob aims to play the part of a small media that aids in a big revolution of justice, liberty, and equality. Maktoob showcases continuous efforts to empower individual citizens and promote democratic ideals through the spread of accurate and humanized editorial content. The Caste, Class conflicts of diverse Indian society is given utmost editorial importance, and we stand against fascist ideologies
