MANIMAS

In 1988 and in an attempt to fulfill a part of the countrys need for dairy products, ARMAGHAN Pasteurized Milk Company, with MANIMAS as its commercial brand name, was established in the town of FASSA, south of IRAN. But it was not until February 1990 that the company was ready for production. The factory was set up in an area covering 7,000 square meters east of FARS province, south of IRAN, 125 km from the city of SHIRAZ. In the 1992-2001 periods, due to Iranian governments declining support for the private sector and directing all its backing towards government-based companies, MANIMAS and all such companies were thus unable to see any real expansion and development. In 2001 when the governments support for private sector firms started, most especially for dairy companies, MANIMAS was also on the road towards expansion, renovation and development.
