Manovikas School Goa

The Manovikas Trust was established in 1968 in response to a deeply felt need for a radical change in the practice of education and in the curriculum outlook that limited the horizons of school education in Goa, at the time.Many parents with young children already at school, were disappointed by the rote learning in practice and the lack of skill in reading, writing and mathematics. These people, mostly young, formed the bulwark from which arose the Trust. The school was started on 26th January 1968. From 1968 to 1975, Mr. Bapalal K. Gosalia headed the Board of Trustees elected by its founder members. From 1975 to 2007 the Trust had as its Chairman Mr. Damodar N. Naik. From 2007 till date it is chaired by Mr.Jose Manuel Noronha.
