The Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Mansoura was established in 2012 by Ministerial Decree No. 3209 of 2012, and its name was changed to the Mansoura Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology by Ministerial Decree No. 5153 of 2015. The institute is considered an addition to the educational system in the engineering sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially in the Delta region.
