MARAEY comprises an extensive coastal strip of about 844 hectares, bounded north by a 12.5 km line of lagoon margin, south by a 8.5 km oceanic coastline, east by the existing coastal population of Marcias municipality, and west by the Sao Bento Canal, separating it from another inhabited strip in this coastline. MARAEY will have the best hotel offering managed by first class international brands with family, corporate, boutique and sports hotels; both on the beachfront, as immersed in the lush vegetation of the Atlantic Forest, or at the foot of the great Lagoa de Marica.
