Margaret Howell Limited

Established in 1970 and incorporated in 1987 Margaret Howell Limited is an internationally recognised design company with more than 100 shops and concessions including London, Paris, Florence and throughout Japan. Under the design direction of Margaret Howell the company produces mens and womens clothing and an extensive household goods collection produced by specialist manufacturers in the UK and Italy. Its MHL. label was established in 2003 and is workwear inspired and European produced. Since 1999 the company has produced shirts and nightwear in its own North London factory. The headquarters, based at 34 Wigmore Street, London, accommodate both the design studio and flagship shop selling the mens and womens collections alongside homeware products that complement the design ethos, including Poole Pottery, Ercol and Anglepoise together with designers such as Robert Welch and David Mellor
