Marleys Mutts Dog Rescue

Marleys Mutts Dog Rescue is 501c3 nonprofit based in Central California and works with local shelters with documented critical stray and euthanasia statistics. Dogs on the euthanasia list receive priority to rescue. They are brought to the MMDR rescue ranch where they decompress, receive training/enrichment/medical care and are placed into foster care or adopted. Marleys Mutts has capacity limitations as do the shelters. We established Marleys Mutts Movers, a program that works with local shelters to transport up to 41 dogs per month to rescues in Oregon, Washington and Canada. These rescue partners receive the dogs, place them in foster care or the dogs may be immediately adopted. This effort significantly contributes to the welfare of dogs and helps connect them with loving homes. Mutt Movers saved 395 dogs last year and hopes to increase tht number to 500/year.
