MARTHA TRUST HEREFORD LIMITED

Established in 1996, Martha Trust in Hereford is a registered charity, providing lifelong care for people with profound learning and physical disabilities. With two sites within the city of Hereford we are able to offer unparalleled support, care and facilities for our residents. Our aim has always been to create a home away from home in a supportive and safe environment that is both great to live in as well as work in. Martha House and Sophie House are managed on a not-for-profit basis by a Board of local Trustees who include the Founders of the Trust. The first resident was welcomed to Martha House in January 1997, and at Sophie House on the 1st October 2012. Both homes have been carefully designed for wheelchair users and incorporate a wide variety of specialised fittings, such as hoists, baths and beds as well as specialised therapy facilities including: hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, aromatherapy, music, art, speech and multi-sensory rooms.
