Maryhill Museum of Art

Maryhill Museum of Art provides a window into the world for its surrounding communities and visitors. The museum was incorporated in 1923 and dedicated by Queen Marie of Romania in 1926. It opened to the public in 1940, and since that time has been a major cultural and arts resource, tourist attraction and historical Northwest landmark, welcoming 20,000 to 30,000 regional, national and international visitors annually. It is open daily, March 15 through November 15. It is closed to the public during the winter at which time exhibit work and building maintenance are done. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, governed by an elected Board of Trustees, has a full-time staff of eight, and an average annual operating budget of around $1.2 million.
