Masak Bersih (MASIH)

MASIH aims to educate Indonesian rural communities on the benefits of shifting away from open wood burning and provide affordable financing options to purchase clean cookstoves that can reduce the impact of wood burning or that utilizes alternative fuel options. Our model centers around educating and creating a intimate relationship with the communities we are aiming to distribute our stoves to. We will establish the demand and financial readiness of each community during our initial visit and determine the best financing option on a case by case basis. Our team will facilitate financing needs through crowdfunding or funding from investors before ordering products from our partners. The cookstoves will be delivered to customers to be distributed to the community on the same day the MASIH team returns to provide on the ground training on product use.
