Maskit is a luxury fashion brand founded in Israel in 1954 by the extraordinary vision and determination of Ruth Dayan, the former wife of late general and statesman, Moshe Dayan. Ruth established Maskit as a fashion and decorative arts house, which created jobs and preserved the ethnic crafts and culture of the diverse communities living in Israel. In recognition of her service to the country, she received the Honorary Award of the President of Israel. Maskit became Israels only fashion house.
