MATEC, was founded at the end of 70s, in the City of Milan, Italy. The initial idea was to propose FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS. In the very beginning, Matec was counting a staff of few people and a small production site, while today, Matec is well positioned on a land of approx 15,000 sqm with warehouses, workshops, welding and production lines in Peschiera Borromeo, close to the city of Milan, besides the Linate Airport and the main Milan ring road and the main motorways. The company moved to Peschiera Borromeo in 1980. Early technical and marketing innovations began to produce successes and, in 1985, the company moved to a larger building in the same city and started the production of Flexible composite hoses. The Italians first flexible composite hose, was developed in the early 1990s, with the brand of COMPOTEC.
