Matrix Engineering was formed in February, 2008 by Douglas Unger, P.E. after working with several other consulting engineering firms for the past 22 years. Matrix Engineering is an incorporated business with Douglas Unger as president, and licensed with the State of Idaho Board of Registration authorized to practice professional engineering. We are licensed engineers in the states of: Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Utah. We have $1,000,000 of professional liability coverage and $1,000,000 of business owners (general liability) coverage. Matrix Engineering was created to depart from the high overhead, administrative intense (big box) manner of providing consulting engineering services.
