Mattress Recycling Council

The Mattress Recycling Council (MRC) is a non-profit organization formed by the mattress industry to operate the recycling programs known as Bye Bye Mattress, in states which have enacted a mattress recycling laws California, Connecticut and Rhode Island. MRC educates the mattress industry about mattress recycling laws, assists retailers and manufacturers with their registration and reporting obligations, and works closely with local governments, waste management professionals, recyclers and others to create an accessible and efficient mattress collection and recycling network.
