As an animal welfare and veterinary charity that has been at the heart of the community for nearly 140 years, we know that the love of a dog or cat is like no other. Every year, Mayhew helps thousands of dogs, cats and people in London and overseas by delivering a broad range of animal welfare and veterinary care services. Our community vet clinic in London has been here for dogs and cats since 1925. Today we provide preventative veterinary treatments free at the point of need for pet owners who cannot afford it. In Kabul and Tbilisi, we operate two further veterinary clinics. We prevent poor animal and human health by delivering mass vaccination programmes and controlling the population of roaming dogs. We build capacity and knowledge in the veterinary profession in London, Kabul and Tbilisi through training.
