McDowell Center for Children

McDowell Center is a 28-bed residential treatment facility located in Dyersburg, Tennessee, for adolescent males experiencing mental health, behavioral, and/or substance abuse issues. Our staff is made up of licensed therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, and counselors who offer 24-hour support for our patients. We provide young men with the skills they need to improve their thinking patterns, make healthier choices, and create new futures with improved outlooks and outcomes. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at McDowell Center for Children is a comprehensive, outpatient program designed individually to meet each patients specific psychiatric illness, behavioral problems and/or substance abuse issues.
