MDFT International, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity dedicated to improving the lives of youth and their families by providing training and consultation services to help clinical providers implement Multidimensional Family TherapyTM (MDFTTM). MDFT is a comprehensive, flexible family-based intervention for adolescent substance abuse, delinquency, and related behavioral and emotional problems. MDFT directly addresses problems in adolescent, parent and family functioning while enhancing the factors that change behaviors, heal relationships, and support positive development. MDFT is a scientifically proven evidence-based practice (EBP) that works actively with families, educators, the juvenile justice system, and other community collaborators to deliver effective treatment.
