Mechanical Engineering Society was framed to promote and practice skill development activities for the growth of the budding technocrats of the Department. Being, one of the oldest societies of NIT JAMSHEDPUR, it works under the aegis of the highly experienced faculty members of the department. M.E.S. attempts to expose and prepare the future mechanical engineers to their tomorrows real world challenges. To bring the same into effect it organises various events all year round promoting technical awareness and scientific temper to deal with problems.
