The Medical Specialist Group is at the heart of health care in Guernsey, providing high quality affordable specialist health services to the people of Guernsey, Alderney and Herm. We are a partnership of 34 consultants, and we employ around 20 associate consultant specialists and 100 staff. The needs of our patients come first, always. Before a group of doctors set up the MSG in 1992, most patients who needed specialist examination or treatment had to travel to the UK. Today we provide an extensive range of services at no direct cost to patients under our contract with the States of Guernseys Committee for Health and Social Care.
