Medicare is a leading not for profit organization that provides quality healthcare to lower and middle-income groups. We are focused on mother and child care. Pakistan has one of the highest mother mortality rates (MMR) in the world of around 186 per 100,000 livebirths. Furthermore, the infant mortality rate (IMR) is reported at 55 per 1000 live births. Medicare provides mother and child care and targets achieving MMR and Infant mortality rate (IMR) comparable to those of the developed countries through the establishment of multiple health facilities targeting specific communities and providing best in class care. Our approach is to educate expecting mothers, provide medical care at birth stage and provide post- birth mother and child health care services. We provide free and subsidized services to targeted communities. At our facilities paying and non-paying patients are treated equally without any discrimination
