Medswana

Medswana is a fully licensed Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Distributor and Wholesaler located at Block 8, Plot 61127 in Gaborone, Botswana. The company was established in 1994 and started trading in 1995. In 1996, a privately-owned Group in South Africa, acquired the total issued share capital of Medswana, at that stage Medswana was one of only three Pharmaceutical wholesalers in Botswana. True to Medswanas nature as a leader and an innovative company, Medswana was the first Pharmaceutical Wholesaler to start supplying the retail sector with OTC and Front Shop products in 2004, thus making us a one stop shop for our customers. In 2006 a fully fledged Veterinary distribution division was launched. Medswana also grew to become the sole distributor for several Multi-National Companies in Botswana.
