Mental Health America of Southeast Florida

The Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida (MHASEFL) is dedicated to promoting mental health and victory over mental illness and related challenges through education, prevention, advocacy, research and empowerment. Programs include: Parent Education/Parent Support, Co-Parenting, Listen to Children, Im Thumbody, Public Education as the Florida Outreach Partner of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Professional Education (CEUs), Seth Line warm line and 9Muses Art Center (drop-in center devoted to recovery through the arts). The Mental Health Association has evolved from a core of dedicated activists to an established agency which provides direct services to the community, to behavioral health professionals and provider agencies, and to the mental health consumer population.
