Mental Health Connections

Mental Health Connections located in Concord, CA, operates Connections House- located in Concord, CA; the Peer Connections Centers- located in Antioch, San Pablo, and Concord, CA; and Connection Transit Support. Connections House provides a safe, welcoming place, where participants (called members), recovering from mental illness, build on personal strengths instead of focusing on illness. Members work as colleagues with peers and a small staff to maintain recovery and prevent relapse through work and work-mediated relationships. Members learn vocational and social skills while doing everything involved in running the day-to-day operations of the Clubhouses work-ordered day. During the course of their participation in our Clubhouse, members gain access to opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendship, employment and education, and to the services and support they may individually need to continue their recovery.
