We love food, wine, friends and family. Have a seat at our table and well cook, eat, drink, share and laugh together. For Jack and Domenic Scarangella, a tavola meant a lot of things while being raised in an Italian household. But most of the time it meant only one thing time to eat. Since August of 98 the boys have been able to pass on to this city what countless hours at the table have passed on to them. Colourful, comforting and traditional meals made with love from fresh seasonal ingredients, accompanied by booming laughter and flowing wine. From a lunchtime hotspot to a dining destination, Mercatto has grown considerably since renovating its original location on Toronto Street in 2007. Their philosophy of fresh ingredients and friendly staff has not changed, but what has is their approach to food and wine.
