Mesco Building Solutions

Mesco Building Solutions was originally formed in Dallas, Texas in 1955 for the purpose of marketing and manufacturing pre-engineered metal building systems under the MESCO trade name. Shortly after formation, the company moved to its present location in Irving, Texas. Since its inception, Mesco has maintained a position of leadership in the metal building industry. Mesco was a pioneer in the use of computers for estimating and design. As a result of its computer expertise, Mesco was an innovator in the development of the industry standard used today in multi-column structures. Early on, Mesco directed its marketing efforts toward the state of Texas, with primary focus in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. 1960 saw Mesco take the first step toward becoming a national manufacturer as it concentrated its efforts on developing national recognition and distribution of its products through a network of authorized builders.
