The Agricultural Olive Oil Cooperative of Messinia - The Union with the distinctive title Messinia Union is the primary farmers cooperative organization of the Regional Unit of Messinia. We were founded in 1987 by the merger of the seven existing Unions of Messinia Cooperatives as a Union of Agricultural Cooperatives Messinia and since 2012 we have become in our present form, a universal successor to the former UACM. Our goal is to safeguard the interests of our members, to safeguard the high quality of the products produced in Messinia such as extra virgin olive oil, Kalamata olive oil, black raisins. We are the holders of the PDO Kalamata extra virgin olive oil and the PDO Elia Kalamatas. At the same time we aim to provide high quality services to producers through our 7 Farmer Service Centers and 7 Supply Stations as well as our MU Retail Store operating in Messinia serving 25,000 producers annually. ===================================== O - . 1987 ...
