Metro Power Group

Metro Power Group is a leading player in harnessing the potential of clean energy in Pakistan. They began their journey in the power generation sector with a successful 50 MW Wind Power project in Jhimpir, Sindh, launched in September 2016. Building on this achievement, they successfully launched a second wind power project, Metro Wind Power Limited (MWPL), with a capacity of 60 MW in April 2022. Through a joint venture with British International Investment (BII), Metro Power Group aims to expand their total capacity to 500 MW in the future, with various projects currently under development. Metro Power Company Limited: Incorporated in 2006, Metro Power Company Limited operates as a licensed Power Generation Company under the Companies Ordinance of 1984.
