Metroz Essences. More than a century of passionate work. Metroz Essences is an Italian flavor house that has been passionate about what it does for more than a hundred years. As a family-owned company, we are proud of our independent entrepreneurial spirit with a low chain of command and streamlined research and processes. Back in 1900, near Messina, the family began producing essential oils using the traditional sponge method. Then in the 50s the Nicola Briguglio Company was established and began producing extracts for liqueurs, aperitifs and vermouths, specialising in alcohol infusion and extraction techniques. In the 60s the company changed its name to Raboud Metroz and over the years shifted its business focus to extracting aromatic ingredients from spices with solvents.
