Michael Guineys first opened its doors in 1971 on Thomas Street in Dublin, offering quality discount Bedding, Curtains and Home Furnishings. Guineys success in Dublin led the company to open its first store outside of the capital on Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork city centre in 1992.
