Michigan Shooting Centers

Michigan Shooting Centers was founded in 2001 by Patrick Lieske, an accountant and part-time professional sporting clays shooter. Lieske sought to turn his passion for the shooting sports into his full-time profession by bidding on a long-term lease to operate the Island Lake Shooting Range in Brighton as a private concessionaire of the MI-DNR. He was awarded the lease and has been a full-time range owner ever since. In 2009, eight year later, Pat added Bald Mountain Shooting Range in Lake Orion to his lease portfolio. Today, we are proud to say that Michigan Shooting Centers remains a family owned-and-operated business. Our team of approximately forty full and part-time employees is led by Pat and his son, Drew. Their passion for the shooting sports is indisputable and contagious, which is one of the many reasons why you will find us always working to ensure that your next experience is better than your last.
