PAGEPOINT SERVICES INDIA PVT LTD (PPSIL) and MICROWAVE COMMUNICATIONS LTD (MCL) were incorporated as Paging Companies in the year 1994 and 1992 respectively. MCL was awarded licenses in 7 cities and Pagepoint in 4 cities. Pagepoint was acquired by MCL in the year of 2000 from Motorola Inc. which owned and operated Pagepoint till the take over. Paging in India was primarily operator assisted since launch in 1995. At its peak in 1999 we had a combined base of 2,00,000 pagers and our operators (Call Center Agents) were handling in excess of 2,00,000 calls per day. Hence, we have been operating 24 X 7 Inbound Call Center Services uninterruptedly for close to 10 years now. The acquisition of Pagepoint from Motorola gave us access to International Standards and Practices in Call Centers and Customer Services.
