Midway Ford Truck Center

Midway Ford began operations in 1961 as Ford Motor Companys first Ford truck-only dealership in the nation. An Employee Stock Ownership Plan was installed in 1982 to reward the employees for their teamwork and dedication. Midway has successfully utilized its centralized location in gaining national prominence. Its location has allowed access to many large trucking companies and is a major reason why over 90% of Midways business is commercial. Midway is proud of its history of retaining quality employees. Over 60% of the 200+ employees have over ten years of continuous service with the company. In May of 2009, Midway Ford purchased certain assets of the Freightliner dealership in Quincy, Illinois and became the Freightliner dealership for an 11-county area in Illinois and Missouri along the Mississippi River.
