Millennium Challenge Account Indonesia II

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), established by the U.S. government in 2004, aims to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty in selected developing countries. These countries are chosen based on their commitment to fair governance, economic freedom, and investment in their people. In December 2018, MCCs Board of Directors chose Indonesia for a second compact agreement, which will last for five years. Currently, MCC and Indonesia are in the pre-implementation stage, preparing for the compacts Entry-Into-Force (EIF). Once EIF is achieved, the five-year implementation period will begin. To manage the compact program, the Indonesian government is setting up the Millennium Challenge Account Indonesia II (MCA-Indonesia II or MCA).
