Minds Matter Colorado

Minds Matter Colorado is one of 14 Minds Matter chapters across the nation that works to provide high-achieving, low income students with the support necessary for future success. MMCO seeks to close the achievement gap and increase college admissions rates for low income students in Colorado. We take on this challenge with 100 percent success by offering personalized mentoring and a rigorous program schedule to a selection of Colorado high school students. With our help we consistently see an increase in students academic performance, improved leadership skills and higher SAT scores. Minds Matter Colorado is not the typical college prep course or mentoring program. Minds Matter Colorado targets high-achieving, low income students, who, despite early academic success, face challenges in achieving college admission as first generation college-bound students.
