Minds Matter Seattle

Minds Matter of Seattle is 99% volunteer-run. Virtually all of our donated funds go straight to funding our mentees high school journey. Minds Matter connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future and change the world. Each mentee is paired with two dedicated, college-educated mentors who provide personalized, ongoing support over the course of three years, starting the mentees sophomore year. Every non-holiday Saturday during the school year, mentees attend four-hour sessions. In the mornings, test prep, writing and critical thinking, and math instructors guide them through our Test Prep, Writing & Critical Thinking, and Math Matters programs.
