Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia is the legal successor of the Economic State Committee of the Republic of Armenia, which was formed in 1990, after the reorganization of State Planning Committee of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Armenia. On June 10, 1997, according to the RA Presidents NM -747 Decree on Changes in Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia the Ministry of Trade, Services and Tourism of RA, the Ministry of Industry of RA, and the Ministry of Economy of RA were merged into one Ministry: the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Armenia. On March 16, 2002, according to the RA Presidents NN 1063 and 1064 Decrees, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of RA was reorganized into the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development of RA.
