About The MFL: The Minor Football League (MFL) has been in existence since 1993 and has continued to grow since inception to now hold 16 franchise teams in America and 16 franchise teams in Africa. The leagues franchises are split into six different divisions. Three divisions in each conference. Each division contains six franchises with the exception of one division in each conference containing just four franchises. The Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Founder of the league is Richard Myles, Sr., a native Washingtonian and former player at Arizona State University. Myles previously played professionally as a member of the New England Patriots. The MFL is NOT a semi-pro league. There is no such thing as semi-pro. That is another name for sandlot football.
