Minority Association of Premedical Students at the University of Washington

MAPS at the University of Washington is dedicated to fostering a community of underrepresented pre-health students and providing members with knowledge and experiences needed to be socially conscious healthcare professionals. The UW MAPS chapter holds a variety of fundraisers, health workshops, and speaker panels in order to help premedical students expand their knowledge of the healthcare field and gain new perspectives and insights. Established in 1999, UW MAPS is a chapter of the national organization Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students. UW MAPS is affiliated with the parent groups, the National Medical Association and the Student National Medical Association (SNMA)
