MISTER MINIT is best known for shoe repair and key duplication, our core business. However, engraving, stamps, watch battery and strap replacement and recently smartphone repairs, complete our offer. The MISTER MINIT story begins in 1957 in Brussels. Its the era of the stiletto heels, which are worn by most women. Many of them broke their heels on the cobbled streets of Brussels. Mr Donald Hillsdon Ryan, whose wife had to cope with the same discomfort, is astonished to find out that it takes at least 10 days to have them repaired by a local cobbler. The conclusion was obvious. There was a real need for a rapid and efficient shoe repair service. On the 14th July 1957, Mr Ryan, together with his business partner Mr Donald W. Philips, opens the first heel bar Talon Minute in the Au Bon Marche store, located in the rue Neuve in Brussels. This first heel bar is a real success.
