Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS) is the preferred water and sanitary sewer service provider for the greater Mobile, Alabama, area. VISION: MAWSS will be a model utility to create and protect resources for future generations. We will lead our industry and provide services to accommodate regional economic development and growth. The drinking water provided by MAWSS comes from Big Creek Lake in northwest Mobile County. We are fortunate to have such an abundant, reliable, clean water source. The water is transported to one of two award-winning plants to be carefully processed, filtered, and delivered efficiently and environmentally friendly to our customers homes.
