Model Institute of Science & Technology ( MIST) is a private polytechnic institute located at West Bhurulia in Gazipur. It was founded in 1998 by Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan, for the spreading technical education to the common purposes of life. MIST campus overlooks Dhaka University of Engineering Technology (DUET) and Gazipur uppazilla parishad. MIST has slowly evolved over the years while retaining a focus on the scientific and technological roots upon which it was founded.
